CognitiveLoop.org  facilitates critical research into creative technology,  interactive art and data visualisation that integrates scientific and philosophical applications of human cognition and experience.  The initiator of CognitiveLoop.org is Brigitta Zics, a practitioner and researcher collaborating with individuals and institutions  from a broad range of disciplines. The aim of CognitiveLoop.org is to distribute outcomes of good practice and practice-based research, and to act as a catalyst for collaborative practices in art, science and technology.

Cognitive Loop also refers to the philosophical concept of cognitive feedback loop that was introduced by  Zics (2008)  to describe a meaningful human and computer interrelationship.
